Live View

Live View is real-time monitoring of one or more applications: throughput and latency as they happen, without a manual refresh. Open it from Home → Live. Use it to check whether a problem is occurring right now, then move into Data Browser or Data Analysis for recorded invocations.

You need the View live permission.

Screenshot placeholder: Workstation → Home → Live. Application selector and Add button; one or more live charts with execution-time and invocation-count bands.

Select an application and choose Add. Each chart is bound to one application, so you can watch several at once. Charts update as agents stream data. Remove a chart from that application's panel when you no longer need it.

The chart

The chart has two bands:

  • Execution time — distribution of instrumented method duration (including average, minimum, and maximum).

  • Invocation counts — how many calls occurred in the window, with the share that threw an exception.

The sidebar names the application and shows n/m instances: n currently sending data, m known for that application.

For a rolling, filtered view of specific services or entry points, use Dashboards instead.
